About Bell
Filing takes a form.
Counsel takes judgment.
A trademark application asks for information. Good counsel asks questions.
What are you building? How are you using the name? Where do you intend to take it? What already exists in the marketplace? And, perhaps most importantly, does pursuing registration make sense?
Bell approaches trademark protection as legal counseling — not simply application preparation.

This Is Personal.
Trademarks represent creators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries — the people willing to take something that exists in their imagination and bring it into the marketplace.
I come from a creative family of entrepreneurs. I’ve watched people close to me develop good ideas, bring them to market, and experience what can happen when what they created wasn’t adequately protected.
Behind every trademark is something someone took a chance on. Time. Money. Reputation. Work.
Protecting it deserves more than filling in blanks. It deserves judgment.
Business + Legal Perspective
I’ve Been on the Other Side of the Table.
Before practicing law, I spent approximately twenty years owning and operating a car dealership.
I know what it means to build a business, develop a reputation, serve customers, solve problems, and make decisions when the consequences belong to you.
My path into law was equally practical. Before becoming an attorney, I worked as a paralegal, including in the intake department of a State Attorney’s Office and in the financial-services sector.
After admission to the Florida Bar, I practiced as a public defender and later gained experience in civil-rights law and civil litigation.
That combination of business ownership and legal practice shapes the way I approach counsel today. I understand the entrepreneur because I’ve been one. I understand that good counsel requires more than knowing the law — it requires asking the right questions, recognizing problems early, and being willing to give clear advice even when the answer isn’t necessarily the one a client hoped to hear.
That is the perspective I offer as counsel.
When you’ve worked to create something of your own, the decisions surrounding it matter. The attorney advising you should understand that.
The Online Model
You shouldn’t have to pay for my conference table.
Offices, conference rooms, furniture, reception areas, televisions, and occasionally, bad coffee...
Ultimately, clients pay for those things...
Bell was intentionally designed as an online trademark practice so resources can be directed toward what matters: competent legal work, attorney judgment, and an efficient client experience.
You don’t need to pay for my chairs. You need a competent attorney on the other side of the conversation.
What Clients Can Expect
Professionalism.
Guidance.
Correction.
If you’re positioned to proceed
I’ll tell you.
If I see a problem
I’ll tell you.
If I believe you’re mistaken
My job isn’t simply to agree with you. You’re hiring counsel — not confirmation.
That doesn’t require endless meetings or unnecessary phone calls. Bell is designed to communicate clearly, work efficiently, and place attorney attention where legal judgment actually adds value.
Money can be earned again. Time is the one asset you spend and cannot get back. I intend to respect both.
